So what's the big deal? Quintiles are renowned for being associated with 'unique qualities of our mind'. In plain English, this means those of us who are blessed with an imagination and who choose to apply it to everyday life and are able to see past that which is obvious to everyone else are about to discover just how powerful our minds can be. Another way of saying this is many people are about to achieve the very special title of 'genius'.
The word 'genius' gets used a lot in everyday life. We regularly see advances in all areas of our existence and are often quick to label someone with the title of 'genius' undeservedly. People who have something original to offer the rest of us, or who choose to pursue something that will benefit mankind without being obsessed by how they might gain in a material sense are those who will benefit most from the Quintiles.
In the same way the word 'genius' gets used inappropriately, so does the saying 'there is a fine line between genius and madness'. It is important to point out that the Quintiles will not benefit anyone who chooses to use their abilities in a negative or destructive manner. There are numerous people who, throughout history, have achieved genius status legitimately. If you look at their charts, you will find Quintiles that appear. Such people include the artists Michelangelo and Picasso, musicians Mozart and John Lennon, actors such as Richard Pryor, Peter Ustinov, Peter Fonda, Julie Andrews, Marilyn Monroe, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Lee, Barbara Streisand, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Mansfield, Judy Garland and Liza Minelli. In the scientific world, we have Einstein, Steve Wozniac, Alexander Fleming and Galileo. Whilst it can be said that some of the above might not be quite so deserving of the title of 'genius' most, if not all, share compulsive traits and all have rare Quintiles to their Sun, prominent planets or strong configurations with other planets. You might have the same!
Interestingly, people with Quintiles in their charts tend to offer the rest of us something unique in their own way. They tend to take something ordinary and add something original to it. Many have, either rightly or wrongly, played a part in showing us something that could benefit us all and have often become symbols of their cause.
As humans, we constantly aspire to greater things. It doesn't matter how much we already know; there is always something else we can create or discover that will serve to make our and everyone else's lives better, and this is what science is all about.
Quintiles show us the way to a better understanding of the universe and of the beauty of creation.
the first alignment
This took place on 1 October 2004 and is responsible for encouraging us to give thought to how we might improve our lives and to remind us that each of us really does have a clear idea of the kind of life we could be living. The first alignment involved an opposition to Uranus, the planet of sudden change, insight and emotional shocks.
the second alignment
The second Grand Quintile occurred on 28 October 2004. Now that you've thought about what kind of life you could be living, the second alignment gives you insight into how to go about getting it. It will allow people to see through anyone who has something to hide, in true Scorpio style!
So now is the time to let your imagination run free. Give serious thought to where you would prefer to be in life, what you would prefer to be doing. If you don't yet know what you do want, then at least identify what you don't want to narrow things down. And remember - the only barriers to success are those we put in place ourselves.
Next month, I'll explain more about the third alignment and what all three mean to each of us.
